In hoeverre wordt de betekenis van dit begrip in deze tekst geproblematiseerd?\n\nStap 2: Wat betekent dit concept? Verzamel informatie over auteur, informatiemedium en (semantische) betekenis van het concept.\n\nStap 3: Waarom gebruikt de auteur dit concept? Ga na welk type interventie de auteur met het gebruik van het concept op het oog heeft: Wil hij\/zij verhelderen, opponeren of verleiden?\n\nInderdaad, dit kost tijd. Maar naarmate iemand meer gelezen heeft, zal het sneller gaan. En wat belangrijker is: wie de conceptuele analyse beheerst, laat zich niet meer door het betoog van anderen overdonderen of te gemakkelijk meeslepen, en kan met hart, ziel en verstand gaan meedoen.","summary":"By way of summary, and without wanting to suggest that conceptual analysis can be reduced to simple or formal procedures, we list some questions that we see as crucial for any critical analysis of concepts:\n\nStep 1: Is this a concept? To what extent is the meaning of this notion itself discussed in this text?\n\nStep 2: What does this concept mean? Gather information about author, information about the medium, and (semantic) meaning of the concept.\n\nStep 3: Why does the author use this concept? Explore which kind of intervention the author aims for by using the concept: elucidating, opposing, or seducing?\n\nIndeed, all of this takes time. But once you gain more knowledge, as well as more experience as a critical reader, conceptual analysis becomes an almost habitual and therefore less time-consuming endeavor. More importantly: with proficiency in conceptual analysis you are less easily overwhelmed by scholarly texts and arguments.
