Deze scriptie heeft als doel een patroon te onthullen voor de implementatie van de aanpak via twee hoofdonderzoeksvragen, namelijk 1) Hoe kan duurzaam landgebruik in tropische boslandschappen worden bevorderd om nationale SDG's te bereiken in de context van ruimtelijke planning? 2) Welke aanpassingen in het huidige beleid en de instellingen zijn nodig om duurzaam landgebruik in tropische boslandschappen te bereiken? Vooral het transformeren van groene principes en het mogelijk maken van beleid voor een duurzame ontwikkelingsstrategie bij de implementatie van een ruimtelijke ordeningsregeling.\n\nIndonesi\u00eb heeft als megadiversiteitsland, zowel marien als terrestrisch in tropische regio's, het VN-SDG-akkoord geratificeerd. Om te reageren op deze mondiale doelen heeft de Indonesische regering 21 prioriteitssectoren ge\u00efdentificeerd als doelstelling voor een groene economie. De inspanningen om de uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordening te verbeteren zijn echter nog steeds zeer onzeker vanwege politieke wil, gebrek aan goed bestuur en kenniskloof. Hoewel de Indonesische ruimtelijke planningswet nr. 26\/2007 (herzien onder omnibuswet nr. 11\/2020 over werkgelegenheidscreatie en ruimtelijke planning) vier bouwstenen van het ruimtelijke planningskader reguleerde, namelijk 1) de opstelling van een juridische paraplu met betrekking tot ruimtelijke ordening; 2) coaching van de prestaties van ruimtelijke planning; 3) de uitvoering van de ruimtelijke indeling bestaat uit het planningsproces (perencanaan ruang), ontwikkelingsbevordering\/ruimtebenutting (pemanfaatan ruang) en controleert de ruimtebenutting (pengendalian pemanfaatan ruang); 4) toezicht op ruimtelijke planning omvat monitoring, evaluatie en rapportage. Toch blijft de kenniskloof in de uitvoering van ruimtelijke planning op landschapsniveau voor het behoud van tropische bossen en ecosysteemdiensten ter ondersteuning van de groene economie een grote vraag. De uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordening kan worden toegepast binnen het kader van de jurisdictie (zoals district, provincie en nationaal) en strategisch gebied (zoals bepaald landschap voor milieukwesties, economische zone, culturele gebieden, hoogtechnologisch gebied en verdedigingszone). Hierdoor kan deze scriptie bijdragen aan het verrijken van de huidige literatuur. Voor het vergroenen van de uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordening in het tropische landschap.\n\nDeze scriptie beschreef de context van het ruimtelijke kader van Indonesi\u00eb in hoofdstuk 2. Om bovenstaande onderzoeksvragen te beantwoorden door de resultaten te geven van vier casestudy's op twee plaatsen (d.w.z. in het district Merauke, provincie Papoea) beschreven in hoofdstuk 3 en corridor RIMBA (Riau, Jambi en Sumatera Barat) in centraal Sumatera) die worden uitgelegd in hoofdstuk 4, 5 en 6.\n\nDe verschillende casestudy's in deze proefschrift tonen aan en verhelderen hoe de uitvoering van ruimtelijke planning groener kan worden door 1) een politieke wil te verkrijgen om belangrijke gemeenschapsgebieden te integreren in het planningsproces, 2) kennis te bieden voor het verbeteren van de milieukwaliteit en het verbinden van gefragmenteerde habitats, 3) inzicht in het waarderen van bosherstel voor het leveren van water als onderdeel van ontwikkelingsbevordering\/ruimtegebruik, 4) versterkt het bestuur en de institutionalisering van landschapsplanning als een rol van controle over het ruimtegebruik. Kort samengevat worden de hieronder beschreven onderzoeksresultaten.\n\n2e hoofdstuk: Dit hoofdstuk beschrijft het groene beleid van Indonesi\u00eb gebaseerd op een groene economie-benadering en een SDG-kader. Verder verlicht het hoofdstuk de ruimtelijke planning in de Indonesische context, met betrekking tot de geschiedenis van de evolutie van ruimtelijke planning, het ruimtelijke planningssysteem en de eiland-ruimtelijke planningsbenadering. De weg naar het vergroenen van de uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordening in Indonesi\u00eb wordt ook besproken. De laatste subsectie behandelt kort problemen van ruimtelijke ordening die moeten worden aangepakt in het RIMBA corridorlandschap en het district Merauke als casestudy's.\n\n3e hoofdstuk: Een casestudy voor het integreren van gemeenschapsgrond in ruimtelijke ordening in het district Merauke\n\nIn het algemeen houdt het ruimtelijke planningsproces in de Indonesische context, met name het planningsproces, onvoldoende rekening met de gemeenschapsgebieden in termen van hun ruimtelijke ordeningspraktijken in het ruimtelijke ordeningsbeleid. Hoewel talloze studies naar participatieve kaartlegging van gemeenschapsgronden zijn uitgevoerd, zijn hun resultaten onbeduidend ge\u00efntegreerd in de ruimtelijke ordeningsregulering (SPR). Daarom richt deze studie zich op het aanpakken van het eerste blok van de onderzoeksvraag in het planningsproces van ruimtelijke ordeningsregulering (genaamd Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah \/ RTRW) van het district Merauke.\n\nDe studiebenadering om aan te tonen hoe participatieve kaartresultaten in SPR kunnen worden ge\u00efntegreerd. Er zijn drie fasen in het proces van het combineren van PGIS met Ruimtelijke Ordeningsregeling - de eerste was het ontwikkelen van een gedeelde visie tussen de gemeenschappen en de districtsregering, en de inzet van beide partijen om het resultaat te gebruiken in verdere planningsprocessen. De tweede was het faciliteren van het participatieve GIS-proces dat door de gemeenschap werd uitgevoerd, en de laatste fase was het integreren van de belangrijke gemeenschapsgebieden in de ruimtelijke ordeningsregeling.\n\nHet belangrijkste resultaat van deze studie wees aan dat het totale gebied dat door de RTRW is aangenomen ongeveer 69% bestond uit het belangrijke gemeenschapsgebied dat als cultureel beschermingsgebied is aangewezen. De overige belangrijke gemeenschapsgebieden werden samengevoegd tot landgebruiktoewijzingen binnen twee categorie\u00ebn - die van beschermde gebieden (22%) en ontwikkelingsgebieden (9%). In dit geval werd 91% van de gemeenschapsgebieden beveiligd tegen andere landgebruiksdoeleinden voor landbouw, mijnbouw, bosbouw en infrastructuur. Het PGIS-resultaat kan worden gebruikt voor het maken van plannen en elders worden gerepliceerd om een opname in het ruimtelijke planningsproces vast te stellen.\n\n4e hoofdstuk: Een pleidooi voor het verbinden van het gefragmenteerde habitat van grote zoogdieren in corridor RIMBA\n\nSumatra staat bekend als habitat voor grote zoogdieren zoals olifanten, tijgers, tapirs, honingberen, neushoorns en primaten. De trend van fragmentatie van leefgebieden in Sumatra zet zich echter voort als gevolg van door mensen veroorzaakte activiteiten op het gebied van de ontwikkeling van lineaire infrastructuur en veranderingen in landgebruik, wat vaak wordt uitgevoerd als onderdeel van ruimtelijke planningsbeleid. In deze casestudy bouwen we voort op een bestaande aanpak om wildcorridors te ontwerpen via habitatkwaliteitsbeoordeling.\n\nDe studie paste verschillende modellen toe, waaronder het Habitat Quality model uit het softwareprogramma Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs (InVEST) en het afbakenen van het wildtraject met behulp van een Corridor Design-model. Het habitatkwaliteitsmodel van InVEST werd gebruikt om het resterende habitat als wildlandblokken te beoordelen, zodat het kan bijdragen aan een verbeterd corridorontwerp van gefragmenteerd wildhabitat. De beoordeling van de habitatkwaliteit omvatte een deel van de provincies Riau, Jambi en West-Sumatra in centraal Sumatra. De output van het habitatkwaliteitsmodel werd gebruikt als input om de connectiviteit van de wildpaden af te bakenen. Het resultaat van het corridorontwerp werd beschreven als een beschermd gebiedsnetwerk. Verder evalueren we het protected area network met het maxent-model. Het eindresultaat werd gebruikt om het doelsegment van wegen te identificeren dat het beschermde gebiedsnetwerk doorkruist.\n\nDe belangrijkste bevinding was dat er 20 wildlandblokken waren, en de totale oppervlakte van de corridor, inclusief wildlandblokken, werd berekend op ongeveer 0,77 miljoen hectare. We hebben een nauwkeurige kwantitatieve meting verkregen van de lengte van wegen die de corridor doorkruisen, met een totaal van 417,78 km (arterie 10,31 km; collector 19,52 km; en lokale wegen 1987,9 km). Deze aanpak kan bijdragen aan het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van de ruimte in de ontwikkelingspromotiefase. Bovendien kan de informatie worden gebruikt om een planmaakproces te evalueren. Daarnaast kan de methode worden gerepliceerd in andere corridors op Sumatra en andere eilanden.\n\n5e hoofdstuk: Een pleidooi voor het waarderen van het beleid ter verbetering van het beschermde bos Bukit Batabuh voor waterdiensten, in corridor RIMBA\n\nOntwikkelingsbevordering voor het behoud van beschermde bossen als corridor is vereist om extra rechtvaardiging te accepteren door de gemeenschap en beleidsbeslissingen. In de algemene perceptie is investeren in het verbeteren van de bosbedekking, zoals beschermd bos, een extra kostenpost en een immaterieel voordeel. Er is een afweging tussen het beschermen en gebruiken van het ontwikkelingsbudget voor andere doeleinden. Daarom hebben we een huishoudonderzoek uitgevoerd in het omliggende Bukit Batabuh om de voorkeur van de gemeenschap te krijgen met betrekking tot het voordeel van beschermd bos. Bovendien fungeert dit gebied om het argument voor het verbeteren van de bosbedekking van Bukit Batabuh te versterken ook als het belangrijkste deel van de RIMBA-corridor.\n\nDeze studie voerde een keuze-experimentmodel uit, een variant van de keuzemodelleringsmethode die een krachtige benadering is om het niet-marktproduct van milieugoederen en -diensten te waarderen en beleidsmakers te informeren. We hebben een casestudy uitgevoerd over gemeenschapsvoorkeur bij de uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordeningsbeleid in het beschermde Bukit Batabuh-bos van het RIMBA-corridorlandschap, Centraal-Sumatra. De studie draagt bij aan het versterken van de bevordering van ontwikkeling bij de uitvoering van ruimtelijk ordeningsbeleid in de bossector.\n\nDe belangrijke ontwikkeling laat zien dat de gemeenschap die nabij het beschermde bos Bukit Batabuh woont, profiteert van een verbeterd stroomgebied stroomopwaarts en wateropslagbeheer door de bosbouwsector. Het hoogste totale voordeel voor de omliggende gemeenschappen is het herstellen van oeverbossen met US$ 2.473.851 (per jaar) per totale beschermde zone of ongeveer US$ 30,1 per ha, met een gerehabiliteerd bovenwaterbekken US$ 2.604.848 (per jaar) per totale beschermde gebied, of ongeveer US$ 31,6 per ha, met verbeterd wateropslagbeheer US$ 2.705.413 (per jaar). De studie houdt echter geen rekening met externe respondenten die indirect profiteren van verbeterde watervoorzieningen uit het beschermde bos. Desalniettemin kan de benadering van het keuze-experiment worden gebruikt om besluitvormers te overtuigen van ontwikkelingsbevordering\/ruimtebenutting en elders worden gerepliceerd.\n\n6e hoofdstuk: Een casestudy over bestuur en institutionaliseren van het corridor RIMBA-landschap\n\nLandschapsbestuur is een uitdaging om landschapsbehoud te vestigen om biodiversiteit en ecosysteemdiensten in een breder perspectief te beschermen, terwijl tegelijkertijd economische aspecten, sociale en klimaatveranderingskwesties worden aangepakt. Daarom wordt landschapsbestuur een vraag die in de specifieke context moet worden gedefinieerd bij de controle van ruimtegebruik bij de implementatie van ruimtelijke ordening.\n\nDeze casestudy heeft als doel de huidige aanpak van biodiversiteit en ecosysteemdiensten in het corridorlandschap uit te breiden via focusgroepen, vragenlijsten en analyses met een contextdiagnostisch instrument.\n\nDe belangrijkste output van de vijf focusgroepdiscussies (FGD's), de vragenlijsten en analyses gebruikten een context diagnostische benadering (CDA) om de institutionele setting van het corridor RIMBA (Riau, Jambi en Sumatera Barat) landschap te verkennen. Vijf elementen van ruimtelijke ordening waren duidelijk gedefinieerd, zoals het vereisen van een passende regeling zoals presidentieel decreet, gouverneursdecreet of districtshoofddecreet; taken, functies, bevoegdheid, financieringsbronnen, kernactiviteiten en competentie. De beperkingen van een CDA zijn dat het stellen van een specifieke vraag verder gebaseerd is op de lokale context en een doelstelling. Deze aanpak kan worden gebruikt voor andere corridorlandschappen op Sumatra en een ander eiland in Indonesi\u00eb om een governancemodel voor biodiversiteit en ecosysteemdiensten op landschapsniveau op te stellen.\n\nDe belangrijkste conclusies van deze dissertatie waren dat het vergroenen van de uitvoering van ruimtelijke ordening het beste kan worden gezien als een levenscyclus van het ontwikkelingsproces. Deze benaderingen kunnen een voordeel zijn voor overheidsinstanties, universiteiten, CSO's en andere actoren om gebruik te maken van de tools en technieken om de ruimtelijke planningsinhoud te verrijken die worden verwezen naar standaardgegevens en coherent met het planningsschema. Bovendien moesten belangrijke gebieden of traditioneel landgebruik van de gemeenschap correct worden gedocumenteerd om in het planningsproces te kunnen worden afgesloten. De ruimtekwaliteit kan worden verbeterd door rehabilitatie, habitatverbindingen met wilde dieren en bosbedekking. Het resultaat van deze inspanning kan bijdragen aan het behoud van het wildverzorgingsgebied en de gemeenschap kan profiteren van watervoorziening als onderdeel van de ontwikkelingsfase. Het laatste, robuuste bestuur en institutionalisering van het RIMBA-corridorlandschap is nodig om het ruimtegebruik te beheersen en tegelijkertijd de evaluatie van het planningsproces en de bevordering van de ontwikkeling te versterken.\n\nDe bedrijfssector kan het doel van de groene economie gebruiken als een groen model om duurzame principes toe te passen binnen een certificeringsschema, betere beheerspraktijken en duurzaam landgebruik, zodat deze aspecten worden gereguleerd onder ruimtelijk ordeningsbeleid. Het is belangrijk om de capaciteit van groene ondernemers op te bouwen en de kennis te beheren voor het vergroenen van de implementatie van ruimtelijke ordening.\n\nDe gemeenschappen zouden zich kunnen laten inspireren door het argument in Merauke om hun land binnen de ruimtelijke ordeningsverordening te beveiligen. Het verkrijgen van politieke wil en erkenning van de autoriteit voor het onderhouden van hun land om hun levensonderhoud en culturele activiteiten te vervullen.","summary":"Attempting to apply a sustainable landscape approach as a framework to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target is a challenge for each country in the tropical region. This dissertation aims to reveal a pattern for implementing the approach through two main research questions, i.e., 1) How can sustainable land use in tropical forest landscapes be promoted to achieve national SDGs in the context of spatial planning? 2) What adaptations in current policies and institutions are needed to achieve sustainable land use in tropical forest landscapes? Especially, to transform green principles and enable policies for a sustainable development strategy in implementing a spatial planning regulation.\n\nIndonesia as megadiversity country both marine and terrestrial in tropical region has ratified the UN-SDGs agreement. To respond to these global goals, the Indonesian government identified 21 priority sectors as a target for a green economy. However, the effort for improving the implementation of spatial planning regulation is still highly uncertain due to political will, lack of good governance and knowledge gap. Although Indonesia spatial planning law No.26\/2007 (revised under omnibus law No.11\/ 2020 on job creation subchapter spatial planning) regulated four building blocks of the spatial planning framework, namely 1) arrangement of legal umbrella regarding spatial planning; 2) coaching the performance of spatial planning; 3) the implementation of spatial arrangement is consists of the plan-making process (perencanaan ruang), development promotion\/ space utilisation (pemanfaatan ruang) and controls the space utilisation (pengendalian pemanfaatan ruang); 4) supervision of spatial planning involves monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Nevertheless, the knowledge gap in the implementation of spatial planning at the landscape scale for maintaining tropical forest and ecosystem services to underpin green economy is still a big question. The implementation of spatial planning could be applied within the framework of the jurisdiction (such district, province, and national) and strategic area (such as certain landscape for environmental issue, economic zone, cultural areas, high technology area and defence zone). Hence, this dissertation can contribute to enriching the current literature. For greening the implementation of spatial planning in the tropical landscape.\n\nThis dissertation described the Indonesia spatial framework context in chapter 2. To address the research questions above by providing the results of four case studies in two places (i.e., in Merauke district, Papua province) described in chapter 3 and corridor RIMBA (Riau, Jambi and Sumatera Barat) in central Sumatera) explained in chapter 4, 5 and 6.\n\nThe various cases studies in this dissertation have been showing and illuminating how to green the implementation of spatial planning through 1) obtains a political will for integrating community important areas in the plan-making process, 2) provides knowledge for enhancing the environmental quality for connecting fragmented habitat, 3) understands of valuing the forest rehabilitation for provisioning water as part of development promotion\/ space utilisation, 4) strengthens governance and institutionalization of landscape planning as a role of control the space utilisation. Briefly, each research results described below.\n\n2nd chapter: This chapter describes Indonesia green policy based on a green economy approach and SDG framework. Furthermore, the chapter Illuminates the spatial planning in Indonesia context, regarding the history of spatial planning evolution, the spatial planning system and the island spatial planning approach. The pathway toward greening the implementation of spatial planning in Indonesia is also discussed. The last sub-section deals briefly with problems of spatial planning that need to be addressed in the RIMBA corridor landscape and Merauke district as case studies.\n\n3rd chapter: A case study for integrating community land into spatial planning in Merauke district\n\nIn general, the spatial planning process in the Indonesian context, especially the plan-making process, inadequately considers the community areas in terms of their land use practices in spatial planning policy. Though innumerable studies into the participatory mapping of community lands have occurred, their results have been insignificantly integrated into spatial planning regulation (SPR). Therefore, this study focusses to address the first block of the research question in the plan-making process of spatial planning regulation (called Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah \/ RTRW) of Merauke district.\n\nThe study approach to demonstrate how participatory mapping results can be integrated into SPR. There are three phases to the process of combining PGIS with Spatial Planning Regulation - the first was to develop a shared vision between the communities and district government, and commitment from both parties to use the result in further planning processes. The second was to facilitate the participatory GIS process which was conducted by the community, and the final phase was to integrate the important community areas into the spatial planning regulation.\n\nThe main result from this study indicated that the total area adopted by the RTRW was about 69% of important community area designated as cultural preservation areas. The rest of the important community areas were merged into land use allocations within two categories - that of protected areas (22%) and development areas (9%). In this case, 91% of the community areas were secured from other land use purposes for agriculture, mining, forestry, and infrastructure. The PGIS result can be used for plan-making process and replicated elsewhere for establishing an inclusion in the spatial planning process.\n\n4th chapter: A case for connecting the fragmented habitat of large mammals in corridor RIMBA\n\nSumatra is well known as a habitat for large mammals such as elephants, tigers, tapirs, honey bears, rhinos, and primates. However, the trend of wildlife habitat fragmentation in Sumatra continues as a result of anthropogenic activities on the development of linear infrastructure and land use changes, which are often implemented as part of spatial planning policies. In this case study, we expand upon an existing approach to design wildlife corridors through habitat quality assessment.\n\nThe study applied several models, including the Habitat Quality model from the software program Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs (InVEST) and delineating the wildlife pathway using a Corridor Design model. The habitat quality model of InVEST was used for assessing the remaining habitat as wildland blocks, so that it can contribute to enhanced corridor design of fragmented wildlife habitat. The assessment of habitat quality covered a part of Riau, Jambi and West Sumatra provinces of central Sumatra Island. The output of the habitat quality model was used as an input to delineate the wildlife pathway connectivity. The result of the corridor design was described as a protected area network. Further, we evaluate the protected area network with the Maxent model. The final result was used to identify the target segment of roads that cross the protected area network.\n\nThe main finding was that there were 20 wildland blocks, and the total area of the corridor modelled, including wildland blocks, was calculated as about 0.77 million hectares. We have obtained an accurate quantitative measurement of the length of roads crossing the corridor, with a total of 417.78 km (artery 10.31 km; collector 19.52 km; and local 1987.9 km roads). This approach can contribute to improving space quality in the development promotion phase. Furthermore, the information can be used for evaluating a plan-making process. In addition, the method can be replicated in other corridors in Sumatra and other islands.\n\n5th chapter: A case for valuing the policy for improving the protected forest Bukit Batabuh for water services, in corridor RIMBA\n\nDevelopment promotion for maintaining the protected forests as a corridor is required for additional justification to be accepted by the community and policy decision-making. In common perceptions, investing to improve the forest cover such as protected forest is an additional cost and intangible benefit. There is a trade-off between protecting and using the development budget for other purposes. Hence, we conducted a household survey living in surrounding Bukit Batabuh to obtain community preference regarding the benefit of protected forest. Furthermore, to enhance the argument for improving the forest cover of Bukit Batabuh this area also functions as the main part of the RIMBA corridor.\n\nThis study conducted a choice experiment model, a variant of the choice modelling method which is a powerful approach for valuing the non-market product of environmental goods and services to inform policymakers. We conducted a case study on community preference in implementation of spatial planning policy in the Bukit Batabuh protected forest of the RIMBA corridor landscape, Central Sumatra. The study contributes to enhancing development promotion in implementing of spatial planning policy in the forest sector.\n\nThe important development shows the community living near the protected forest Bukit Batabuh benefits due to improved upstream watershed and water storage management by the forestry sector. The highest aggregate benefit to the surrounding communities is attached to restore riparian forest at US$ 2,473,851 (per year) by the total protected area or to approximately US$ 30,1 per ha, with a rehabilitated upper water catchment US$ 2,604,848 (per year) by the total protected area, or to approximately US$ 31,6 per ha, with improved water storage management US$ 2,705,413 (per year). However, the study does not consider outsider respondents who receive indirect benefits from improved water services from the protected forest. Nonetheless, the approach of the choice experiment can be used to convince the decision-makers of development promotion\/ space utilisation and be replicated in other places.\n\n6th chapter: A case study on governance and institutionalise the corridor RIMBA landscape\n\nLandscape governance is challenging for establishing landscape conservation to protect biodiversity and ecosystem services in a broader perspective while at the same time addressing economic aspect, social and climate change issue. Hence, landscape governance is becoming a question to be defined in the specific context in controls of space utilisation in implementation of spatial planning.\n\nThis case study aims to extend the current approach governing biodiversity and ecosystem services in the corridor landscape through focus group discussion, questionnaires and analysing with a context diagnostic tool.\n\nThe primary output of the five focus group discussions (FGDs), the questionnaires and analysis used a context diagnostic approach (CDA) tool to explore the institutional setting of corridor RIMBA (Riau, Jambi and Sumatera Barat) landscape. Five elements of spatial planning were clearly defined, such as requiring an appropriate regulation, such as presidential decree, governor decree or head of district decree; tasks, functions, authority, funding sources, core business and competency. The limitations of a CDA are that needs to make a specific question are further based on the local context and an objective. This approach can be used for other corridor landscapes in Sumatra Island and other islands in Indonesia to establish a governance model for biodiversity and ecosystem services at the landscape level.\n\nThe main conclusions of this dissertation were that greening the implementation of spatial planning is best thought of as a lifecycle of the development process. These approaches could be a benefit for the government agencies, universities, CSOs and other actors to use the tools and techniques for enriching the spatial planning contents referred to standard data and coherent with the planning time schedule. Further, the community important areas or traditional land use required to be documented appropriately for aligning in the plan-making process. Space quality can be improved through the rehabilitation of wildlife habitat connections and the forest cover. The outcome of this effort can contribute to maintaining the wildlife home range, and the community can benefit from water provision as a part of the development promotion phase. The last, robust governance and institutionalisation of the RIMBA corridor landscape is required to control space utilisation and, at the same time, to strengthen the evaluation of the plan-making process and development promotion.\n\nThe business sector can use the green economy objective as a green model for applying sustainable principles within a certification scheme, better management practices and sustainable land use that those aspects are regulated under spatial planning policy. It is important to build green entrepreneur capacity and manage the knowledge for greening the implementation of spatial planning.\n\nThe communities could be inspired by the case in Merauke for securing their land within the spatial planning regulation. To obtain political will and recognition by the authority for maintaining their land to fulfil their livelihood and cultural activities.","auteur":"Barano Sulistyawan","auteur_slug":"barano-sulistyawan","publicatiedatum":"11 september 2026","taal":"EN","url_flipbook":"https:\/\/ebook.proefschriftmaken.nl\/ebook\/baranosulistyawan?iframe=true","url_download_pdf":"https:\/\/ebook.proefschriftmaken.nl\/download\/e66458c9-72e1-436a-a4ce-89b86501760d\/optimized","url_epub":"","ordernummer":"18538","isbn":"978-94-6534-533-8","doi_nummer":"","naam_universiteit":"Universiteit Utrecht","afbeeldingen":16457,"naam_student:":"","binnenwerk":"","universiteit":"Universiteit Utrecht","cover":"","afwerking":"","cover_afwerking":"","design":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/us_portfolio\/16455","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/us_portfolio"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/us_portfolio"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=16455"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/us_portfolio\/16455\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":16458,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/us_portfolio\/16455\/revisions\/16458"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/16456"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16455"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"us_portfolio_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.proefschriftmaken.nl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/us_portfolio_category?post=16455"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
